Who is Claudia? Actually, it can be any of us, any person trying to find meaning in their lives and facing the many challenges that it imposes on them.

These letters, written for a fictitious woman, are actually written for many recipients. It is a collection of letters that bring to light common concerns within all of us.

This book compiles the writings that Jorge Bucay dedicated to his patients for over three years of therapeutic work. With time, the patients themselves began to share and to distribute these letters, until one day, due to the great success that they were having, they suggested that Bucay publish them, and so he did. In this imaginary correspondence, Claudia, the author's very dear friend, is the recipient of a revealing letter that will clear up many of her doubts about self-knowledge, love, the beauty of life, and the secrets of psychology. The book has already become a self-help classic.

A work that will ultimately help anyone who reads it, to reflect on themselves and advance on the path of self-knowledge.

Author Biography

JORGE BUCAY nació en Buenos Aires en 1949. Se graduó de Médico en la Universidad de Buenos Aires (1973) y se especializó en enfermedades mentales. Es psicodramatista y psicoterapeuta gestáltico. Es autor de numerosas obras, entre ellas Cartas para Claudia (1989), Rencuentos para Demián (1994), Cuentos para pensar (1997), De la autoestima al egoísmo (1999), Amarse con los ojos abiertos, El camino de la autodependencia (2000), El camino del encuentro (2001), y El camino de las lágrimas (2001).
