Los marcianos se interesan en la conquista de la Tierra por el hambre y la necesidad, no tanto por un impulso guerrero.

War of the Worlds is a science fiction novel first published in 1898. The story is told by an unnamed narrator in 1904, six years after the Martian invasion. Captivated by the works of Darwin, Wells is based on the evolutionary premise of the incessant struggle between beings for survival, recounted on an interplanetary scale. Martians are interested in conquering Earth out of hunger and want, not so much out of a warrior impulse.
