Charles Darwin's revolutionary work "On the Origin of Species" was first published 150 years ago. The book's full title is "On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life". His notes, taken on the second voyage of the HMS Beagle from 1831 to 1836, was the basis for his theory of evolution.
